Sarah Churchill

Bio

Sarah Churchill brings over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, spanning client strategy, business development, CapEx planning, and FF&E procurement. As Director of Client Services for the Hospitality Studio at IA Interior Architects, she is responsible for driving growth and strengthening client relationships across the Americas, APAC, and EMEA.

Prior to joining IA, Sarah served as Director of Business Development at 10 Design (formerly SB Architects) and previously led Business Development at Benjamin West, the world’s leading hospitality procurement firm. There, she advised owners, developers, asset managers, and project teams on budget, schedule, procurement strategy, and significant hospitality CapEx investments.

Earlier in her career, Sarah held project management roles overseeing more than $100 million in FF&E purchasing for four- and five-star luxury hotels and resorts, giving her a comprehensive understanding of the hospitality project lifecycle from early strategy through execution.

Her insights have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Hotel Investment Today, and Hotel News Now/CoStar, and she has spoken at industry events including the HUNTER Hotel Investment Conference, HD Expo, ULI Hotel Development Council, and the NEWH Leadership Conference. She has also served as a guest lecturer at Boston University’s School of Hospitality Administration.

Sarah is an Associate Member of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC) and the 2023 recipient of the ISHC Lori Raleigh Award for Emerging Excellence in Hospitality Consulting. She remains actively involved with NEWH, having previously served two years as President of the Rocky Mountain Chapter, followed by roles as Past President and Executive Advisor.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design with honors from East Carolina University.
