Knut Wylde, a well-respected, global hospitality executive with three decades of refined international hospitality expertise, shaped at the legendary Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Hamburg and enriched through worldwide leadership roles through across Europe, Asia, Middle East and the Caribbean, Knut Wylde has transformed guest experiences resulting in commercial success at London's most distinguished properties, The Lanesborough, The Savoy, Claridge’s and to his most recent Multi-Property General Manager role at The Berkeley & The Emory.

During his tenure of 10 plus years at Maybounre he oversaw the multimillion-pound refurbishment and repositioning of The Berkeley, which ultimately moved the hotel into the first spot in STR in its comp set and into the top 8 within London’s overall comp set. He launched several new food & beverage concepts and outlets, including Cedric Grolet at The Berkeley and ABC Kitchens by Jean George at The Emory and before his departure was instrumental in the negotiation of the deal to bring La Mome to The Berkeley. He played an integral part in the creation of The Emory, London’s first All-Suite Luxury Five Star Hotel including the creation of ‘Surrenne’, the first wellbeing members club of a new era of experiential wellbeing, a new paradigm of wellbeing set over 20,000 sqf over four floors of immersive health, fitness, and beauty services and advancements in modern science, and cutting-edge treatments to provide a holistic approach to emotional wellbeing and physical health, sparking wonder and cultivating true longevity.

International properties where he left his fingerprint on include the Badrutt’s Palace in St. Moritz, the Al Faisaliah in Riyadh, Little Dix Bay and Caneel Bay in the Virgin Islands (all part of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts), the One & Only Reethi Rah in the Maldives as well as Loch Lomond Golf Club in Scotland.

A Master Innholder who serves on the Board of Governors at The Royal Academy of Culinary Arts, the Standards Advisory Board of Forbes Travel Guide and a Trustee of The Gold Service Scholarship as well as a recipient of the ‘Freedom of the City of London’ Awards.

In Summer 2024 Knut founded ‘Wylde Hospitality’, a Curated Strategic Consultancy advising owners, developers and operators of distinguished hotels, resorts, golf and private members clubs worldwide. His depth of experience informs a uniquely holistic approach to luxury hospitality consultancy - balancing operational precisions with creative vision. In addition to leading Wylde Hospitality, he serves as Global Head of Hospitality Strategy & Operations for Kyosei; an innovative ultra-high-net-worth villa rental startup. The Kyosei Collection comprises 25 iconic residences, each valued between $20M and $40M, and operated with the precision, service, and amenities of a five-star luxury boutique hotel. Designed for the short-stay rental market, the portfolio is collectively owned by a global network of ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
