Bio

Rabia Shaukat is a PwC qualified Chartered Accountant as well as an ACCA with 15 years of experience within finance & accounting. She has served as the finance director and financial consultant for various leading regional and international organizations within Middle East & Asia. Rabia is an elected Global Council Member at ACCA which is a global accountacy organisation in more than 180 countries with 250,000 members worldwide. She was also recognized by Hotelier Middle East as the Young Hotelier of the Year nominee in 2016.

Rabia is an all rounder & seasoned hospitality finance professional with extensive experience across the realms of hospitality operations, corporate finance and consulting. Having worked in various leading hotel chains, owning companies, international operators as well as Big4 consulting and accounting firm, she is a trusted advisor across a full range of hospitality operations and corporate matters.

Rabia has successfully led & delivered numerous projects encompassing hotel openings, hotel operations, advisory to owners and operators on business strategy, operating model, performance enhancement and profit maximization. She has also steered various finance transformation projects advising CFOs on business process automation and other innovative ways of working. Thanks to her experience of working with top notch Hospitality companies including Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. (now Marriott International), NEOM , RAK Hospitality Holding, Landmark Group and PwC Middle East – Global Centre of Excellence for Tourism & Hospitality.
