Bio

Mr. Anderson, a 30-year veteran in the leisure industries, is the founder and CEO of Anderson and Associates, a consultancy firm specializing in developing and programming issues related to senior lifestyle communities, wellness real estate as well as resorts and spas. His day-to-day activities include developing strategic operating plans for his clients with respect to new construction, expansion, renovations, branding or enhanced operation. Operational issues include developing and training to operational standards and developing comprehensive standard operating procedures. He evaluates senior communities and wellness lodging trends and their related revenue sources vis-à-vis market acceptance and economic viability.

He has personally conducted several engagements that require detailed knowledge of comprehensive market analysis, real estate evaluation, senior community lifestyle trends, resort, and medical spa operations. Mr. Anderson has prepared analyses for all types of senior communities, resorts and destination spas and wellness centers and hospitals.

Mr. Anderson is a board member of the Kitalys Institute for the delay and prevention of age-related diseases and the breaking down of silos among age-related professions. He is also a faculty member at both the Collins School of Hospitality Management at the California State University’s campus in Pomona, CA.

Prior to founding Anderson and Associates, Peter was a Vice President with PKF consulting in Los Angeles. He also managed the Hospitality consulting practice of Deloitte and Touche LLP out of their Los Angeles location.
