Ivar Yuste is the founder of hospitality consulting firm PHG Hotels & Resorts. PHG was founded in 2009 and advises hotel owners and investors on business and financial aspects of hotel assets, at any given stage of the life cycle of the asset. PHG works mostly in Spain but has worked in other markets such as Morocco, UK, France, Portugal, Colombia, Cuba, Brazil, Mexico, US, etc.

HOW WE WORK
We usually start with an initial analysis of the situation. This allows our clients making informed decisions moving forward and selecting the most appropriate course of action for their hotel assets.
We work with our clients at any given phase of the life cycle of the hotel asset, for as long as it is required.

Prior to founding PHG, Ivar Yuste has worked for groups such as the hotel division of Marsans (largest Spanish travel conglomerate ever) in Spain, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Cuba and Morocco, holding the position of Managing Director Corporate Development. Also, Ivar has worked for Wyndham Worldwide, the largest hotel franchisor in the world, as Director of Business Development in EMEA, and for travel technology companies such. as Sabre and SITA, amongst other companies.

From an academic standpoint, Ivar Yuste holds an MBA from The University of Chicago and a Hotel Investment and Financing Diploma by The University of Cornell.

Ivar Yuste is currently Vice President at The International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC), the only global association of hospitality consultants.
