Clay Markham is a principal and a leader for the Hospitality and Mixed-Use Practice at RATIO Design, a global design firm that creates innovative and impactful solutions for people and places. With over 45 years of experience in the hospitality and entertainment industries, he has developed a dynamic design and management approach that integrates architecture, interior design, and construction management.
He has delivered award-winning projects for clients and brands such as Hyatt, Marriott, IHG, and MGM Mirage, across Europe, Latin America, South Africa, Asia, and North America. His expertise in diverse market conditions and project types enables him to create unique and memorable experiences for the users and the communities. He is passionate about sustainable design, client satisfaction, and creative excellence, and strives to bring the world-class design work of RATIO Design across the Americas and the globe.
Clay is currently serving as a member of the ULI DFW Hospitality + Entertainment Development Council in Dallas, TX.
