Bio

Cindy Schoenauer, AACI, P.App., ISHC, is a Senior Vice President at Cushman & Wakefield ULC based in Vancouver, Canada, with the Valuation & Advisory Hospitality & Leisure Group. Her work includes market and feasibility studies, appraisals, portfolio valuations, asset strategy, and acquisition due diligence.

She brings over 20 years of industry experience and has specialized in the valuation of hospitality assets in all types of markets throughout Canada with focus on Western Canada. Her experience is both with existing and proposed assets ranging from limited service properties to boutique hotels, full service hotels, ski and golf resorts, and destination spa hotels.

Cindy developed a passion for the hospitality industry at an early age, inspired by her travels across Canada, Europe, and Latin America, and by being immersed in a multilingual environment throughout her upbringing.

Before joining Cushman & Wakefield, Cindy was part of the Valuation & Advisory teams at CBRE Hotels and PKF Consulting. Her professional background also includes hands-on experience in hotel operations at renowned properties such as the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, Fairmont Waterfront, and Novotel Toronto, as well as experience in the restaurant sector.

Cindy pursued post-secondary studies in Vancouver, Toronto, and the South of France. She holds both Canadian and European citizenship and is fluent in English, with varying levels of proficiency in French, German, and Spanish.
