The Rising Star Award is co-sponsored by the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC) and Burba Hotel Network (BHN). The winner must be under 35 years of age; have a minimum of 5 years in a hospitality-related field with at least 1 year with the current hotel or company; be recognized by leaders in the hotel or hospitality company as a rising star; currently work and live in the Caribbean and have a minimum of two of the most recent five years hospitality experience living and working in the Caribbean. The award will be presented to the winner at the Caribbean Hotel and Resort Investment Summit (CHRIS) May 7 -8, 2012 at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami.
