Nirupa Shankar of Brigade Hospitality Services Honored at HIFI
Gurgaon, Delhi (N.C.R.), India, 15 January 2015: The International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC) and the Hotel Investment Forum India (HIFI) presented Nirupa Shankar with the 2015 Rising Star Award South Asia. As a Director for Brigade Hospitality Services, Shankar is responsible for business development, operations strategy and analytics. She has made a significant impact by reducing costs, improving company processes/policies and introducing new ways of managing assets.
After receiving the honor, Shankar stated, “Awards like these are very encouraging. They motivate me to do more. I hope to make the hotel fraternity proud by striving towards greater heights in the years ahead.”

The Rising Star Award South Asia was created in 2014 by the ISHC and HIFI, to recognize emerging leadership talent in the South Asia region from the hospitality industry. Award criteria require that a nominee be 35 years and under, be currently working and living in the South Asia region and have a minimum of two of the most recent five years hospitality experience living and working in the South Asia region.
